There is not much to say about this product, except for that you probably need it if you are an absent minded cook. The Boil Over Safeguard Silicone Lid prevents boil overs from happening by breaking up bubbles in your boiling water, but still can trap the steam to keep your water boiling just as fast as before. It is both microwave and dishwasher safe, and since it is made out of silicone, it is incredibly heat resistant, up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
